5 Puffins Place: Walk to Beach | Coastal Charm | Dog-Friendly

The location was perfect for accessing the beach and both sides of town. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The room was clean and the host was extremely helpful. When our rental car had to be towed and we were unable to find an available taxi or Uber, Steve drove my husband to Astoria to get a new rental car. That's above and beyond service, and we are extremely grateful for the kindness of everyone we interacted with at the property.

Everything was great except the fireplace didn’t work and we were unable to contact the host - did speak to customer service at VRBO who were Very helpful.The bedroom pillows were very cheap and could Definitely use an update.The Location was Perfec!

Beautiful and convenient place to stay that is super close to the beach.

The location of this Vrbo was fantastic. Just one walk from the beach, but it was on the main road that runs through the town, so if you are looking for something quieter, you will want to consider a different location. My reason for marking so low was related to noise, but not from the street, from the close proximity to neighbors, and how loudly we could hear the people above us. I thought this was going to be a standalone unit or at least something connected to other single-floor units. It is actually located below a unit and adjoining two others. Anytime our neighbors came in and out, the door slammed, startling our dog and us. Any walking above us sounded like stomping at all hours of the day, and in the morning, one of the adjoining neighbors, whose entrance and little patio were located right outside of our bedroom, camped out, talking loudly, with their dogs barking when my s/o was trying to get some restful sleep. The unit was clean, the furniture was nice, and the bed was comfortable, but if you are looking for quiet and privacy, I would highly recommend looking somewhere else.
